All of our engines come with our great 30 day limited warranty on start up and on the engine block and head. This warranty DOES NOT cover external accessories including but not limited to electrical components, sensors, alternators, pumps, pulleys, belts, wiring, engine mounts, axle shafts, shift linkage, wiring harness, distributor components, gaskets, any plastic trim pieces, computer (ECU) or Turbo.
We do not cover the 13BT/13BTT/20B-Rotary and Toyota 7M-GTE engines in any way.
Transmissions are NOT covered in our warranty.
Any vehicles sold are not covered in our warranty. All vehicles are sold AS-IS in their current state. Once the transaction is completed with the customer the vehicle becomes their responsibility to insure and to pay all costs for any repairs needed thereafter.

Used Engines
All of our engines are meticulously inspected for quality and reliability before importing from Japan. All engines have less than 50 000 miles. Some engines may have minor surface scratches because they are used or due to mishaps during transportation. There are many fragile parts on our engines such as plastic trims, metal and rubber parts which may become dislodged or break during shipping. These parts are readily available at you local auto parts store.
Disclaimer
This warranty does NOT cover the following cases:
- The engine is redlined or competitively raced
- Insufficient amount of oil in the engine, improperly installed
- Over heating of the engine, unless overheating is the direct result of the failure of an internal part of the engine.
- Enginelandinc. is not responsible for the failure of emissions and smog test.
- Any labor for installation or removal of any defective
part of an engine.
- Damage to the engine being improperly installed
- Damage to the engine caused by modification or forced induction for which the engine was not designed
- We do not warranty Rotary Engines (Mazda Rx-7 20B/13BT/13BTT) in any way
- If the motor is somehow abused or heavily modified by the buyer (especially with aftermarket parts) then the warranty is automatically void.
- Any labor for installation or removal of any defective
part
If the motor is defective then it must be returned to us in its original condition without any further alteration.
Restocking fee
It is up to the customer to uninstall the engine and cover freight fees or charges for the return of the defective item.
We do not give credit for any returned items; replacements will be sent freight collect after being inspected by our staff.
Sales
Policy
- All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges
- $30.00 admin charge on bounced checks
- It is the customer's responsibility to pay the freight charges on returned items.
- Orders can be cancelled if they have not already been shipped
*It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the item bought best fits his/her need, and Enginelandinc. will NOT be held responsible if the engine does not fit into the designated automobile.*
